I'm Not Dead!

Hi Y'all

It's been quite a long while since I've posted anything, and I thought today I probably should just to prove that I am still viable.

I (sadly) don't have a whole bunch of great and wonderful news to report, but that's not to say that life isn't great and wonderful right now. There's just not a whole lot going on. It's pretty much, work, sleep, eat, work right now.

I am getting rather amped up about moving in May though. I ride the bus past "my" house everyday that I go to work so that just adds to my anticipation. I am so ready to be out of the current pit of dispair. Those idiot landlords have STILL not sent the newest lease agreement, and yeah, we only have a little over a month left here. Sweet Jesus, I feel sorry for the next poor unfortunate soul that moves in here. Actually, the one neighbor already moved out, so with us...that will be two empty units. I smile on that. How very German of me.

We gave the guinea pigs away last night. They will be going to live at a house with other guinea pigs where they can have more fun and be more productive pigs I guess. Poor things just didn't get much interaction here other than getting fed or when the cage got cleaned. I'm happy that they are gone to a better home though. The dogs where a bit confused at first but them seem to have adjusted well to the lack of the living toys that used to live here.

On a side note: Spring officially begins tomorrow I think....I'm ever so happy.

Ok, I think I'm off to the libaray...that is if I can find bus fare...oy vey

Peace, Love, and Bobby Sherman,
J.

Dearest Justin,

Please do let me know your new address. Your house sounds lovely, and I'm so happy for you!! I miss my backyard so!!

I'm pretty much working and eating and sleeping, as well. The BF and I are off to NO tomorrow for a mini-break (or three-day weekend for us US types).

Last weekend went to local celebration Quein' on the Red. Neville Bros performed, including Aaron. It was pretty cool.

Best news: my archival supplies finally arrived, and after 5 months of nothingness, I'm working!! I was just processing, and I'm about to get back to it!!

Life here is sunny, literally and figuratively, and I send warm and sultry vibes your way.

Best to your entire household,
l'Archivista

I'm very happy that life is sunny in all ways for you now. I always knew you'd find your beams of light again one day and blossom to your fullest! It's still overcast and gloomy here (ie Midwest Spring), but it's ok, I've lived with it my entire life, blah blah blah.

Good for getting your Archive on! I hadn't realized you'd been waiting so long to actually get back to the root of it. I'm glad to hear it though! I think of you a lot at work, we use a copious amount of staples, it's rather uncalled for. l'Archivista wouldn't stand for it

FYI: I washed my effing cell phone and lost every number that I had, could you email me yours again, I'm sorry, I suck. And as soon as I know the new address, you will have it :-)
